Job Description Organization: The rb Type: Unpaid Volunteer Leadership Commitment: 2030 hours/week Duration: 36 months (renewable) About The rb The rb is a youth-led movement working at the intersection of climate action, sustainability, and social justice. What You'll DoPartnerships & Outreach - Identify and build strategic partnerships with NGOs, foundations, universities, and corporates - Create proposals, negotiate collaboration terms, and manage 2030 partner relationships - Build 35 formal partnerships per quarter Media & Press Relations - Build relationships with journalists and climate/sustainability media - Pitch stories and secure 23 media mentions monthly - Coordinate expert access and track earned media coverage Expert Network & Contributors - Recruit and manage a network of 50+ sustainability experts, researchers, and practitioners - Facilitate interviews, guest articles, and knowledge-sharing opportunities Community & Events - Plan quarterly community strategy - Execute 12 events per month (webinars, workshops, meetups) - Build peer-to-peer engagement within The rb's community Creator & Influencer Collaborations - Identify aligned micro-influencers (10K100K) - Pitch collaborations, negotiate, brief creators, and track campaign results Team Leadership - Recruit and manage coordinators, community managers, and interns - Lead weekly meetings and set KPIs - Build mentorship plans and guide team performance Who We're Looking ForEssential Experience - Partnership development / relationship management (professional or project-based) - Strong networking, communication, and stakeholder management - Understanding of the sustainability/NGO landscape (India preferred) - Media relations, PR, or business development experience (preferred) - Leadership experience (formal or informal) Mindset & Values - Passion for climate action and environmental justice - Strategic thinker with a collaboration mindset - Relationship-driven and community-oriented - Organized, adaptable, and good with ambiguity Nice to Have - Experience in India's NGO/impact sector - Existing relationships with NGOs/media - Event management or fundraising experience - Experience working with youth-led organizations Key DeliverablesMonthly: - Partnership activity report - Media coverage report - Community engagement metrics Quarterly: - Partnership strategy review - Expert network update - Event and collaboration summaries Final Outcomes: - Partnership strategy framework - Expert network database (50+ contributors) - Case studies on key partnerships - LOR + Professional Certificate What You'll GainProfessional Growth - Letter of Acceptance (LOA) - Letter of Recommendation (LOR) from Founder - Professional Certificate: Community & Partnership Development - Portfolio of real partnership case studies - Direct exposure to India's NGO, climate, and sustainability ecosystem - Leadership experience in strategy, negotiation, and relationship management Flexibility - Fully remote - 2030 hours/week (flexible with academics/work) - Renewal option How to Apply - Send your CV + a short note on why you'd like to join to: [Add email/LinkedIn Easy Apply CTA]
