Job Description - Develop and maintain backend services and APIs for server- and web-based eCommerce applications, ensuring scalability and reliability. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including frontend developers, product managers, architects, and quality assurance, to define and implement new features. - Optimize application performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure high availability and minimal downtime. - Implement security best practices to protect sensitive data and comply with industry regulations. - Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code, adhering to best practices and coding standards. - Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members to enhance code quality. - Stay updated on emerging technologies and industry trends to continuously improve development processes. .Education: - Bachelor s degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or a related field. Work Experience: - 5 to 8 years of proven experience as a Backend Developer, preferably in the pharmaceutical or healthcare sector. Skills and Knowledge: - Proficiency in Java programming, ideally with additional experience in other backend programming languages (e.g., C#, Python, Node.js). Spring is a plus. - Strong experience with database management systems (e.g., SQL, NoSQL) and data modeling. - Deep knowledge of RESTful APIs and microservices architecture. - Familiarity with typical enterprise developer tools such as Jira, Git, and Confluence, as well as CI/CD. - Knowledge of cloud services (e.g., AWS, Azure) and containerization (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes) is a plus. - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. - Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment. - Experience with pharmaceutical industry standards, regulations, and compliance (e.g., GxP, FDA, DSCSA) is a plus. - Familiarity with frontend technologies (e.g., React, Angular, Vue, JSP) is a plus. - Familiarity with Agile development methodologies is a plus. - Critical Thinking - Detail Oriented - Impact and Influencing - Interpersonal Communication - Multitasking - Problem Solving - Time Management
