About Data Axle Data Axle Inc has been an industry leader in data marketing solutions sales and research for over 45 years in the USA Data Axle has set up a strategic global centre of excellence in Pune This centre delivers mission critical data services to its global customers powered by its proprietary cloud-based technology platform and by leveraging proprietary business consumer databases Data Axle is headquartered in Dallas TX USA Roles Responsibilities We are looking for a Senior Data Scientist to join the Core Data Science team as we build the next chapter in our profitable company We are looking for experienced data science machine learning and MLOps practitioners to design build and deploy impactful data products that serve a wide range of data customers This team is the central engine of a company that is obsessed with data quality accuracy and availability Ownership of design implementation and deployment of machine learning algorithms in a modern Python-based cloud architecture Create build and release new capabilities for user interaction with data assets using modern APIs and frameworks Deliver accessible and responsive code of high quality automated build test deploy CI CD experience preferred but not required Visualize and publish analytical results and insights to internal and external audiences Work as an integral part of an agile team Ability to adapt to changing requirements while managing expectations with a variety of internal and external stakeholders Be exemplars of data-driven culture at a rapidly evolving company Requirements Ph D or Masters in a quantitative applied field Statistics Econometrics Computer Science Operations Research Mathematics Engineering Physics 5 years of real-world Machine Learning Productiondevelopment and deployment experience required This is not an entry-level role We require experience in deploying ML models in production Exhibit deep knowledge of core mathematical principles relating to data science and machine learning Statistics Probability ML Theory Best Practices NLP Feature Engineering Supervised and Unsupervised ML A B Testing etc Proficiency in Python and SQL required Preliminary knowledge of Spark web services and RESTful APIs Familiarity with SAS is valued but not required Familiarity with master data management principles highly valued Experience in cloud infrastructure AWS GCP Snowflake Familiarity with modern CI CD methods preferred but not required Proven ability to work within a team to deliver impactful solutions from the ground up Proven ability to communicate successfully with others remotely Bonus points for a well-curated GitHub GitLab personal repo with projects to highlight your DS ML work This position description is intended to describe the duties most frequently performed by an individual in this position It is not intended to be a complete list of assigned duties but to describe a position level
