As a Public Relations intern you will play a key role in supporting communications and public relations efforts This position offers hands-on experience in crafting messaging engaging with media outlets and promoting brands Role Responsibilities Assist in drafting press releases media advisories and other PR related materials Support the planning and execution of media outreach campaigns Conduct research on industry trends policies and relevant news to assist with media strategies Maintain and update media contact lists ensuring accurate information for outreach Help coordinate and monitor PR activities including media coverage and press events Assist in the creation of social media content that aligns with the client s messaging Participate in brainstorming sessions and contribute creative ideas for PR campaigns Support the development of internal communication materials including newsletters and memos Track media coverage and assist in preparing media reports for the team Collaborate with cross-functional teams including marketing clinical staff and external agencies Educational Qualifications Excellent written and verbal communication skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite Word Excel PowerPoint and social media platforms Detail-oriented organized and able to manage multiple tasks simultaneously What We Offer Mentorship from experienced professionals in the field of public relations Opportunities to develop a professional portfolio of work Networking opportunities within the PR industry A collaborative and supportive work environment
