Now more than ever the Toast team is committed to our customers We re taking steps to help restaurants navigate these unprecedented times with technology resources and community Our focus is on building the restaurant platform that helps restaurants adapt take control and get back to what they do best building the businesses they love And because our technology is purpose-built for restaurants by restaurant people restaurants can trust that we ll deliver on their needs for today while investing in experiences that will power their restaurant of the future The NOC team manages the monitoring of vulnerability scanning ongoing security audits and compliance that assist in the process of satisfying all the PCI DSS requirements As a NOC Engineer I you will be responsible for monitoring our end clients network to ensure compliance About this roll Responsibilities Responsible for remote monitoring of critical customer network infrastructure analyzing alerts and troubleshooting incidents Provide Tier 1 Networking support to meet PCI Compliance requirements Escalate alerts as needed that require higher level support Perform incident resolution tasks based on approved Standard Operating Procedures SOPs Respond to and resolve automated alerts generated from our monitoring system in a timely fashion Exercise ability to learn quickly and retain knowledge Strives for constant improvement and development Resolves network issues detected by monitoring using data from monitoring troubleshooting tools and provides detailed notes on triage efforts for incidents Other duties and responsibilities as assigned Do you have the right ingredients Requirements Network management experience of 1-3 years is required Experience working with network monitoring systems supporting incident response and system health Excellent listening and communications skills both verbal and written Strong customer service skills Organized detail oriented and self-motivated Ability to provide and maintain detailed documentation in each ticket Knowledge in basic networking configurations and routing protocols Hands-on experience with entry level troubleshooting of Cisco Meraki Ubiquiti Unifi or equivalent routers WLAN devices Familiarity with GSuite Salesforce Jira Confluence Slack Splunk a plus CompTIA Network certification obtained within 1yr of onboarding Special Sauce Nonessential Skills Nice to Haves Understanding of security concepts and technologies including firewalls intrusion detection systems malware outbreaks network intrusions and unauthorized access attempts Experience with AWS Rapid7 Recorded Future CrowdStrike EDR Jamf or Microsoft Intune Familiarity with various operating systems such as Windows macOS and Linux We are ToastersDiversity Equity and Inclusion is Baked into our Recipe for Success At Toast our employees are our secret ingredient When they are powered to succeed Toast succeeds The restaurant industry is one of the most diverse industries We embrace and are excited by this diversity believing that only through authenticity inclusivity high standards of respect and trust and leading with humility will we be able to achieve our goals Baking inclusive principles into our company and diversity into our design provides equitable opportunities for all and enhances our ability to be first in class in all aspects of our industry Bready to make a change Apply today Toast is committed to creating an accessible and inclusive hiring process As part of this commitment we strive to provide reasonable accommodations for persons with disabilities to enable them to access the hiring process If you need an accommodation to access the job application or interview process please contact Toast Inc
