Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Design Engineer with expertise in ball valve design for the hydrocarbon and pipeline sector. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with valve specifications and standards, ensuring designs meet industry requirements for oil and gas projects.

Key Responsibilities

- Design ball valves according to industry standards for hydrocarbon and pipeline applications.
- Ensure compliance with specifications such as API 6D, API 6FA/API 607, BS 5351, BS 6755, API 6A, BS EN ISO 17292, ANSI B16.10, ANSI B16.5.
- Prepare detailed engineering drawings, 3D models, and technical documentation.
- Collaborate with production, quality, and project teams to ensure designs are manufacturable and meet project requirements.
- Review and update existing designs for process improvements and standardization.
- Support project execution by providing technical inputs and resolving design-related queries.

Required Skills & Qualifications

- BE / B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline.
- 35 years of experience in ball valve design, preferably in a reputed valve manufacturing company.
- Strong knowledge of ball valve specifications, standards, and industry codes.
- Proficiency in CAD software and engineering design tools.
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
