We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Associate Director, Software Engineering.
In this role, you will:
. Responsible for designing, implementing and maintaining automation solutions using Ansible and Ansible Automation Platform focussed on supporting Tooling deployment
. Manage and support Configuration management and enforcement in a large Ansible managed Linux estate
. Support Code promotions and perform Code reviews
. Provide L3 support, troubleshoot and resolve incidents
. Consultation on customer code development
. Support new OS versions development, deployment and configuration
. Support deployment and configuration of new, and upgrades to existing estate management tools
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you should meet the following requirements:
. Highly experienced in Automation technologies - Ansible, Ansible Automation Platform
. Experience in Configuration Management highly desirable
. Experience of Package management - creating and understanding rpms
. Experience in Linux/Unix administration and Service Management highly desirable
. Experience in development/support Python, Git, CI/CD pipelines
. Experience of working with agile practices and toolsets including JIRA and Confluence
