Tata Electronics, part of the Tata Group, is building India’s first world-class semiconductor fabrication facility in Dholera, Gujarat. This landmark project is central to India’s ambition of becoming a global hub for advanced electronics manufacturing and semiconductor production.
The Opportunity
We are seeking a seasoned Construction Program Management leader to drive one of the largest high-tech industrial infrastructure projects in India. The role will be heavily focused (~70–80%) on semiconductor facility construction, with a lighter yet critical (~20–30%) responsibility on advanced MEP (Mechanical, Electrical & Plumbing) systems to support operations and long-term reliability.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide end-to-end leadership for construction planning, execution, and delivery of large-scale semiconductor manufacturing facilities.
- Oversee project governance, cost, schedule, risk management, and stakeholder alignment.
- Lead engagement with EPC contractors, design consultants, and global partners for on-time, quality-driven execution.
- Ensure world-class construction standards for cleanrooms, utilities, and precision-controlled environments.
- Provide oversight of critical MEP systems to ensure seamless commissioning and transition into operations.
- Maintain strong focus on safety, compliance, and sustainability across all construction activities.
- Build, mentor, and manage cross-disciplinary project teams at site.
Qualifications
- 20+ years of experience in large-scale industrial construction program management, ideally in semiconductor, electronics, refinery, petrochemical, or high-tech manufacturing projects.
- Demonstrated success in leading greenfield megaprojects with high complexity.
- Strong knowledge of construction program governance, stakeholder management, and delivery excellence.
- Familiarity with MEP systems (HVAC, chillers, CDA, UPW, process gases, utilities) as part of facility operations.
- Engineering degree/diploma in Civil, Mechanical, or Electrical disciplines.
