Experience Required 12 years Domain Banking Financial Services preferably Cash Management Treasury Liquidity About the Role We are seeking a highly experienced and technically strong Senior Manager - Software Development to lead the delivery of strategic banking and financial management solutions The ideal candidate brings deep expertise in enterprise software engineering using modern technologies and frameworks and has hands-on experience leading complex deliveries in Agile and hybrid environments Exposure to cash treasury liquidity management domains is highly desirable Key Responsibilities Technical Leadership Drive solution design architecture decisions and estimation processes Guide teams in applying best practices in software engineering ensuring scalable and maintainable code Stay current with emerging technologies and assess their applicability Delivery Management Own and manage end-to-end delivery of features and releases Lead Agile ceremonies including PI Planning backlog grooming and retrospectives under SAFe Track project progress dependencies and risks Ensure timely resolution and mitigation Planning Execution Define and manage delivery roadmaps sprints and milestones Work closely with Product Owners Business Analysts and Architects to refine requirements and ensure alignment Support partner vendor teams who may follow traditional delivery approaches ensuring seamless integration Team Management Manage and mentor a team of engineers across multiple streams Foster a culture of collaboration ownership and continuous improvement Perform resource planning performance assessments and skill development planning Stakeholder Engagement Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders including business sponsors operations and compliance teams Provide regular updates through dashboards reports and presentations Manage expectations timelines and deliverables with transparency Budget Compliance Track budget allocations forecasts and variances Ensure compliance with organizational policies security and regulatory standards Technical Skills Required Proficient in Java Spring Framework Boot Data Security Experience with MongoDB or other NoSQL databases Hands-on with Apache Kafka and distributed systems Exposure to cloud-native development preferably AWS Azure or GCP Familiarity with DevOps practices and CI CD tools Preferred Qualifications Understanding of banking systems especially in areas like cash management liquidity forecasting or treasury platforms Experience delivering in Scaled Agile SAFe environments Prior experience coordinating with vendor or partner teams using waterfall or hybrid delivery models Bachelor s or Master s degree in Computer Science Engineering or related discipline Job Family Group Technology Job Family Applications Development Time Type Full time Most Relevant Skills Please see the requirements listed above Other Relevant Skills Java Software Development Citi is an equal opportunity employer and qualified candidates will receive consideration without regard to their race color religion sex sexual orientation gender identity national origin disability status as a protected veteran or any other characteristic protected by law If you are a person with a disability and need a reasonable accommodation to use our search tools and or apply for a career opportunity review View Citi s and the poster
