About The Role The primary role of an Banking Operation Specialist is to performmanage and respond to notices sent by Australian Government bodies to ANZ, ensuring that all required information or payments are provided accurately and within the stipulated timelines, in accordance with relevant legislation. Any deviation or delay in responding to these notices could lead to regulatory implications, including ASIC complaints. This role requires specialists with a sound understanding of Australian legislations, strong decision-making capabilities, and process-oriented thinking. It is a multi-dimensional position involving coordination and collaboration with various internal teams to execute end-to-end tasks efficiently and compliantly. Role Type: Permanent Role Location: Bengaluru Work Hours: 8.5 hrs & Early morning shift (4:00 am) Note: We have multiple openings for this role. What will your day look like As an Investigations Officer, you will: - Liaise with stakeholders in a professional manner, assisting with all enquiries to finalise and/or escalate within a timely manner. - Ensure customers are aware of their obligations and requirements to enable closure of cases. - Provide appropriate verbal information to stakeholders. - Support process improvements, process changes and promote change culture. - Seek opportunities to work with others to achieve team goals and actively share knowledge with team members and stakeholders. - Contribute to overall team quality levels through quality checks What will you bring To grow and be successful in this role, you will ideally bring the following: - Experience in banking products & service - Experience in building relationships across ANZ to realise the Portfolio / Domain operational strategy - Influencing skills across a diverse range of Stakeholders - Working knowledge of Bank products, risk, performance and operational management - Adaptable and flexible to deal with uncertainty and ambiguity - Ability to synthesis information from multiple sources to produce meaningful reporting, insights and action plans - Ability to effectively communicate ideas in a consumable format with supporting action plans You're not expected to have 100% of these skills.
