Finance Professor

Role Overview:

Our client company invites applications for the position of Assistant Professor/Associate Professor / Professor in Finance. The role includes teaching, research, curriculum development aligned with industry needs, and contribution to academic and institutional growth.

Key Responsibilities:

 Deliver high-quality teaching in core and advanced finance subjects to postgraduate students.

 Design and develop course curriculum in alignment with contemporary industry trends and academic standards.

 Conduct impactful research in the area of finance and publish in reputed journals.

 Guide and mentor students in academic projects, internships, and career planning.

 Participate in faculty development initiatives, training programs, and institutional activities.

 Engage in academic administration and support various committees as required.

Qualifications & Skills:

 Ph.D. in Finance or pursuing Ph.D. in Finance from a recognized and reputed university/institution.

 Strong domain knowledge in core finance areas such as Corporate Finance, Financial Markets, Financial Modelling, Investment Analysis, Derivatives, etc.

 Proven research capabilities with published or accepted papers in peer-reviewed journals (desirable).

 Experience in teaching or corporate roles in finance-related fields will be an advantage.

 Proficiency in tools/software in Finance

 Excellent analytical, communication, and presentation skills.

 Passion for academic excellence, innovation, and continuous learning.

Associate Professor

 Ph.D. in the relevant discipline.

 Minimum 8 years of teaching/research/industry experience, including 2 years post-Ph.D.

 At least 5 research publications in refereed journals as per UGC/AICTE norms.

Professor:

 Ph.D. in a relevant field with consistently good academic records.

 A minimum of 10 years of teaching/research/industry experience, of which at least 4 years should be at the level of Associate Professor or equivalent.

 A minimum of 10 publications in peer-reviewed or UGC-CARE listed journals, with significant contributions to the field.

 Proven track record of mentoring doctoral candidates, leadership in academic administration, and contributions to curriculum design and academic planning.

 Evidence of securing research grants, conducting executive education, or leading consultancy assignments will be an added advantage.
