Job Summary

Quartz Components is building a High-Performance Product Category Team and is inviting applications for the role of Junior Purchase Executive. This position is ideal for candidates with 0–2 years of experience in a Junior Purchase profile role and a passion for electronics & supply chain operations.

Responsibilities

- Place timely re-orders of products from suppliers.
- Compare and evaluate supplier offers and negotiate pricing/terms.
- Maintain accurate order records in internal databases.
- Monitor stock levels & ensure smooth supply chain operations.
- Coordinate with Accounts Team for the P2P cycle and with Warehouse Teams for stock-in.
- Support new product additions based on demand, market trends, and supplier inputs.
- Identify cost-cutting & process improvement opportunities.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams & provide support when required.
- Inspect received items – carry out quality and quantity checks before acceptance.
- Ensure proper stocking of items into bulk storage as well as running inventory.

Qualifications

- Diploma / B.E / B.Tech in Electronics, Electrical, or Electronics & Telecommunication.
- Must have basic computer & Good knowledge of MS Excel functions (VLOOKUP, SUMIFS, COUNTIFS, Conditional Formatting, etc.).
- Strong communication skills (English & Hindi), team spirit, and problem-solving attitude.
- Ability to learn quickly, adapt, and take responsibility.
- Technically strong with an interest in electronics products.
- Candidates with MOOCs certifications in MS-Excel, Data Analysis, Purchase, Inventory Management, SCM, or Six Sigma will be preferred.
- Participation in Drone/Tech competitions will be an added advantage.
- Strong project portfolio (college/company/personal) related to active/passive components, semiconductors will be highly valued.
