Key responsibilities include conducting site investigations, managing project schedules and budgets, coordinating with contractors and architects, and ensuring compliance with regulations and codes. ResponsibilitiesProject planning and design: Plan, design, and manage civil engineering projects, from initial concept to completion. Site assessment: Conduct site investigations, analyze data from reports and tests, and perform feasibility studies. Budget and schedule management: Develop and manage project budgets and timelines, and monitor progress to ensure deadlines are met. Coordination and communication: Liaise with architects, contractors, and other engineers; present project proposals; and answer technical questions. Compliance and safety: Ensure all projects comply with safety standards, environmental regulations, and building codes. Quality assurance: Monitor on-site construction activities, inspect work, and verify that specifications are met. Documentation: Prepare and present detailed project reports, engineering designs, and specifications. SkillsTechnical skills: Proficiency in engineering design software and a strong understanding of civil engineering principles. Project management: Skills in planning, scheduling, and resource allocation. Communication: Ability to effectively communicate with diverse stakeholders, including clients and contractors. Problem-solving: Ability to identify and resolve issues that arise during the project lifecycle. Attention to detail: Meticulous approach to design, safety, and quality assurance.
