Responsibilities

Role Description:

Develop, test, and maintain applications with established processes while building holistic understanding of the underlying applications and domain

Key Responsibilities

- Strong understanding of Java development best practices, secure coding design, code quality tools
- Good command over Security best practices, Authorization and Authentication mechanisms - OAuth 2.0/OIDC
- Strong Design experience on distributed applications
- Experience on CI CD pipeline - GitHub Actions
- Feature Development/Implementation using applicable AWS Cloud services.
- Translate functional requirements into technical requirements
- Design and build high performance, reusable, reliable code by following the best practices
- Come up with the best practices to ensure good quality deliverables
- Take ownership of the work
- Write test classes and ensure adequate code coverage as per the guidelines
- Strong experience In Agile way of working
- Communicate with leader, scrum master, customers, and other stakeholders to design cohesive product strategies and ensure effective collaboration throughout all the phases of development, testing and deployment
- Mentor the junior developers
- Knowledge of synchronous and asynchronous programming
- Exposure to Atlassian Tools like JIRA/Confluence
- Requirement gathering from the customer, core development of the deliverables, testing and deploying the application
- Good to have exposure on Frontend technologies like React/NextJs
- Good communication, analytical and problem-solving skills

Qualifications

Qualifications:

- Graduate bachelors degree (any stream)
- Indicative years of experience: 4-6 years
- Skillset - Java 8+, Spring/Spring Boot, REST API, Java Streams API and Functional programming, NodeJS/TypeScript, Spring Boot, API - Rest, GraphQL, Hands on experience with System designing: HLD and LLD, SOLID principles, SQL, Unit testing and Integration testing in Java/JavaScript, Version control (Git), GitHub Actions, AWS services - Lambda, AWS App Sync, AWS DynamoDB, S3, AWS Api Gateway, SQS, SNS, CloudFront, ECS, VPC, Fargate, EventBridge, Event Driven /Serverless architecture
