Job Description

We are seeking two skilled Azure .NET Full Stack Developers with React experience to support a global tax automation portal expansion project. The role will focus on:

- Scaling an existing GST automation solution to multiple geographies.
- Building new features, reports, and dashboards.
- Leveraging AI and cognitive services to improve productivity, accuracy, and analytics.
- Supporting existing production applications and enhancements alongside project development.

Scope of Work

- Participate in daily Agile rituals (daily stand-ups, sprint planning, backlog refinement, and sprint demos) as a member of a cross-functional delivery team to ensure steady feature delivery.
- Translate business requirements and user stories into clear technical specifications and actionable development tasks; estimate effort and commit to sprint deliverables.
- Design and implement end-to-end solutions: build backend services (ASP.NET Core WebAPI), frontend components (React + TypeScript), and database schemas to deliver user-facing features and reports.
- Own feature development lifecycle: write unit and integration tests, set up and maintain CI/CD pipelines in Azure DevOps, and deploy to Azure PaaS environments (Dev/Test/Prod).
- Work closely with solution architects and senior engineers to validate designs, conduct peer and design reviews, and incorporate feedback to meet non-functional requirements (performance, security, scalability).
- Maintain and enhance production applications: triage incidents, perform root cause analysis, implement timely fixes, and produce post-incident documentation and action items to prevent recurrence.
- Implement and maintain observability: add logging, telemetry, and alerts (Application Insights/Azure Monitor) to proactively monitor service health and support SLA objectives across geographies.
- Optimize application performance and data processing pipelines to handle multi-geography GST workloads, ensuring data integrity, proper error handling, and secure transmission/storage of tax data.
- Collaborate with Product Owners, Tax SMEs, QA, and offshore teams to clarify acceptance criteria, validate business logic, and support testing and release activities.
- Document technical designs, API contracts, runbooks, and test cases; maintain clear code comments and knowledge-base articles to enable smooth handoffs and onboarding.
- Drive automation: contribute to infrastructure-as-code, release automation, and test automation initiatives to reduce manual effort and increase deployment reliability.
- Mentor and coach junior developers, participate in pair programming, and support knowledge transfer across the distributed team to raise overall delivery capability.
- Prototype and integrate AI / cognitive services where applicable: evaluate models, run proofs-of-concept, and operationalize services to improve automation, accuracy, and analytics.

Core Skills

Required Skills & Experience

- Minimum 5 years of IT experience, including 2+ years in Microsoft Azure.
- 2+ years of Microsoft web development using ASP.NET, MVC, WebAPI (hands-on).
- .NET Core 5+ development experience.
- Proficiency in TypeScript with ReactJS 18+.
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Azure PaaS services: Functions, Web Apps, Logic Apps, SQL DB, Azure Storage, Data Factory.
- SQL Server creating tables, writing stored procedures, and queries.
- Experience with Entity Framework or equivalent ORM frameworks.
- Application deployment and configuration on Azure PaaS.
- Azure DevOps for CI/CD pipelines.

Preferred Skills

- Microsoft Certified Azure Developer, MCSA Web Applications, or MCSD App Builder.
- Experience with Power BI and Azure Cognitive Services.
- SAFe Agile methodology.
- Prior work in global or enterprise-scale projects.
