Job Description Python & React Lead Engineer Company: Zato Origin India Pvt. Ltd. Location: Hyderabad, India Employment Type: Full-time We are seeking a Python & React Lead Engineer to lead a team of up to 10 developers focused on building and optimizing data-driven web applications. This role requires deep technical expertise in Python (Sanic framework) and React, with a strong focus on Redux-based state management, modular architecture, and refactoring legacy components and APIs for improved scalability and maintainability. Key Responsibilities Technical Leadership: Lead and mentor a team of up to 10 developers, setting high standards for architecture, code quality, and delivery. Full-Stack Development: Architect, develop, and maintain backend systems using Python (Sanic) and frontend applications in React. Strict Redux Implementation: Define and enforce consistent, predictable state management using Redux with best practices for middleware, reducers, and selectors. Code Modularization & Refactoring: Refactor existing React components and APIs into clean, modular, and reusable structures. Standardize component patterns, API structures, and data flow across the codebase. System Design & Integration: Design scalable solutions for data extraction, data processing, and Excel automation workflows. Code Quality & Best Practices: Enforce rigorous code review processes and ensure adherence to design and documentation standards. Performance Optimization: Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks across backend APIs and frontend components. Process Improvement: Drive improvements in CI/CD, deployment workflows, and developer productivity. Cross-Team Collaboration: Work closely with product owners, architects, and QA teams to deliver robust, maintainable software solutions. Required Skills & Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. 5+ years of hands-on experience in software development with leadership responsibilities. Strong proficiency in Python, with experience in Sanic, FastAPI, or other async frameworks. Solid experience building and scaling applications in React with strict Redux implementation. Proven experience in refactoring, modularizing, and optimizing existing codebases and APIs. Knowledge of data extraction, automation, and Excel-based workflows. Proficiency in Git, CI/CD pipelines, and Docker-based environments. Excellent problem-solving, communication, and mentoring skills. Must Have Experience with TypeScript, advanced Redux patterns, or state management libraries. Knowledge of SQL database design, query optimization, or data visualization.
