At Arch we believe our strength lies in our people and our ability to innovate together Were proud to offer challenging rewarding careers in analytics technology actuarial operations and more Were looking to grow our India team with individuals who are looking to make their mark at a dynamic global insurer About Arch Arch Capital Group Ltd Arch is a leading global insurer with operations in more than a dozen countries We write insurance reinsurance and mortgage insurance on a worldwide basis and our customers value us as an innovative partner and dependable risk manager with decades of fresh ideas and solid results Part of the S P 500 Arch has the size and capital position to remain a market-leading specialty insurer About Global Services India Arch Global Services India established in 2025 is the newest part of Archs Global Service Organization With offices in Trivandrum and Pune Arch Global Services India is strategically positioned to provide support to Arch Insurance Reinsurance and Mortgage divisions globally At Arch Global Services India we collaborate with teams across the globe to develop and implement solutions that deliver exceptional results for our clients worldwide Lead AI Automation Engineer Position Overview Are we seeking a highly experienced and motivated person Lead AI Automation Engineer with a proven track record of leading automation and integration initiatives The ideal candidate will bring at least 15 years of engineering experience with prior technical leadership solution definition and delivery This individual must be a motivated self-starter capable of driving both the solution architecture and hands-on development of automation and AI-driven solutions The role demands a deep foundation in workflow automation system integration and API-driven development proficiency in cloud-native architectures on Azure and curiosity in applying next-generation AI technologies to enterprise challenges Key Responsibilities Solution Leadership Define and drive automation solution architecture across business domains Translate business processes into scalable automation workflows using Microsoft Power Platform Logic Apps and Azure services Hands-On Development Design develop and deploy Power Automate-based automations along with Logic Apps Function Apps and custom scripting Build and optimize API-based integrations across enterprise systems Develop agentic AI solutions leveraging Azure OpenAI Azure AI Foundry and Retrieval-Augmented Generation RAG patterns Apply prompt engineering to optimize AI model performance Team Stakeholder Engagement Share knowledge and best practices with other automation developers Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to align automation initiatives with business objectives Establish best practices governance and reusable frameworks for automation development Required Skills Qualifications Experience Minimum 12- 15 years in software automation engineering Automation Background Strong foundation in Power Automate and workflow automation with experience in Logic Apps Azure Functions and process orchestration Programming Skills Proficiency in Python preferred with knowledge of at least some of C Java JavaScript etc Cloud Expertise Strong experience with Microsoft Azure cloud services including Power Platform Logic Apps Function Apps Azure DevOps and Azure AI services Integration Expertise Proven experience in API development system integrations and workflow orchestration AI GenAI Knowledge Exposure to or hands-on with Azure OpenAI Azure AI Foundry Agentic AI development Prompt Engineering and RAG architectures Mindset Strong automation-first mindset with the ability to reimagine business processes through simplification and AI-driven enhancements Leadership Communication Excellent communication skills with very strong English language skills strong articulation skills and ability to create narratives for complex scenarios Preferred Qualifications Prior experience working in enterprise environments with complex integration landscapes Understanding of the M365 ecosystem Power Automate Power Apps Teams SharePoint integration Familiarity with governance and security frameworks for automation and AI adoption Continuous learner with curiosity for emerging AI technologies and automation frameworks
