Job Description We are seeking an experienced Informatica Big Data Management (BDM) and PowerCenter (PC) Administrator to manage, monitor, and support Informatica environments. The candidate will ensure smooth operation of ETL workflows, maintain data quality, and optimize performance of Informatica BDM and PowerCenter solutions within the data ecosystem. Key Responsibilities: - Install, configure, upgrade, and maintain Informatica BDM and PowerCenter environments. - Monitor Informatica workflows and sessions to ensure timely data processing and high availability. - Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to ETL workflows, connectors, mappings, and data integrations. - Manage and optimize performance tuning for Informatica jobs and server components. - Administer repository and integration services, including backup and recovery tasks. - Collaborate with development teams to support deployment, migration, and version control of ETL jobs. - Implement security policies, user roles, and access controls in Informatica environments. - Coordinate with cloud teams for hybrid or cloud-based Informatica deployments. - Maintain documentation for architecture, configurations, processes, and support procedures. - Provide 2nd and 3rd level support for Informatica-related issues and participate in on-call rotations. - Assist in capacity planning and scalability strategies for data integration workloads. Required Skills & Qualifications: - 4 to 6 years of hands-on experience administering Informatica Big Data Management (BDM) and PowerCenter. - Strong knowledge of Informatica architecture, including repository, domain, nodes, and services. - Experience with ETL processes, workflow design, and data integration best practices. - Familiarity with Hadoop ecosystem components (HDFS, Hive, Spark) is a plus. - Experience with performance tuning, troubleshooting, and optimizing Informatica jobs. - Good understanding of data security, access control, and compliance standards. - Proficient in UNIX/Linux shell scripting and command-line tools. - Experience with version control tools and deployment processes. - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. - Excellent communication and collaboration skills. Preferred Skills: - Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and deploying Informatica in cloud/hybrid environments. - Experience with containerization and orchestration tools (Docker, Kubernetes). - Familiarity with automation tools and CI/CD pipelines. - Informatica Administrator or Developer certification is an added advantage.
