Graduate Engineer, Geotechnical

Job Description Responsibilities - Ability to work on projects with minimal supervision - Membership of the ICE (or similar organization) - A willingness to travel to overseas countries within the region. - Site investigation techniques with experience in supervising field investigation works a distinct advantage. - Describing soil and rocks to international standards. - An understanding of Geotechnical Interpretative Reports including recommendations for deep and shallow foundations and shoring works. - An understanding of foundations within soils and rocks. - An understanding the analysis of shoring walls including Diaphragm, Secant, Contiguous, King post etc. - Knowledge of software packages such as WALLAP, Pdisp, Slope W or similar. - An understanding of various ground improvement techniques. Qualifications Desired Skills - Master of Technology, Master of Engineering, Master of Science Qualifications - Bachelor of Engineering, Bachelor of Science, Bachelor of Science (Honors), Bachelor of Technology BGV: - Employment with WSP India is subject to the successful completion of a background verification (BGV) check conducted by a third-party agency appointed by WSP India. - Candidates are advised to ensure that all information provided during the recruitment process including documents uploaded is accurate and complete, both to WSP India and its BGV partner.
