Job Description Primary Job Title: Social Media Marketing Intern (Remote, India) Industry & Sector: Technology-driven digital marketing and software services supporting B2B and B2C growth. About The Opportunity Join a fast-paced remote team as a Social Media Marketing Intern where you will gain hands-on experience executing social campaigns, creating short-form content, and measuring real business outcomes. This role is ideal for a creative, metrics-minded communicator eager to build a strong portfolio and grow into a social media specialist. Role & Responsibilities - Support development and execution of a cross-platform social media strategy (LinkedIn, Instagram, X, Facebook, YouTube, and short-form video channels). - Create and schedule engaging content: captions, carousels, short videos, stories, and simple visuals using Canva/Figma. - Manage day-to-day community engagementmonitor comments/DMs, respond promptly, and escalate leads or issues to relevant teams. - Use scheduling tools (Buffer/Hootsuite/Meta Business Suite) to maintain content calendars and ensure consistent publishing cadence. - Track key performance metrics (engagement, reach, CTR, follower growth), produce weekly reports, and recommend content optimisations based on data. - Conduct competitor and social listening research to identify content gaps, trends, and A/B test ideas for creative/copy. Skills & Qualifications Must-Have - Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, Media, or equivalent. - 01 years of practical experience or internships in social media/content creation. - Strong written English with concise copywriting and storytelling skills tailored for social formats. - Basic graphic design and video editing skills using Canva, Figma or mobile editing apps for Reels/Shorts. - Familiarity with platform analytics (native insights) and comfort using Google Sheets/Excel for simple reporting. - Self-motivated, organised, and comfortable working remotely with clear communication skills. Preferred - Exposure to LinkedIn content for B2B audiences, basic SEO/content marketing awareness, or paid social fundamentals. - Experience with social listening tools, community management workflows, or multilingual content (Hindi/other regional languages).
