Description Job Title Accountant 3 Years Experience Location Kolkata We are seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Accountant with a minimum of 3 years of practical experience to join our team The ideal candidate should have a sound understanding of accounting principles ITR filing and GST Key Responsibilities ITR Filing Handle and prepare Income Tax Returns ITR for individuals and businesses as per the latest tax laws and regulations GST Compliance Ensure GST filings GSTR-1 GSTR-3B GSTR-9 etc are completed accurately and timely Keep up-to-date with changes in GST rules and regulations Accounting Manage day-to-day accounting activities including journal entries ledger maintenance and reconciliation Financial Reporting Assist in the preparation of financial statements Balance Sheet Profit Loss Account in accordance with accounting standards Tax Computation Calculate tax liabilities file returns and ensure tax compliance for clients Reconciliation Perform bank vendor and customer reconciliations to ensure accuracy Audit Preparation Assist in the preparation and coordination of audits by external auditors Filing and Documentation Maintain proper documentation of financial records and filings for easy retrieval and audit purposes Required Skills and Qualifications Minimum 3 years of relevant accounting experience Hands-on experience with Income Tax Returns ITR filing and GST filings Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial regulations Familiarity with accounting software and tools Tally QuickBooks etc Knowledge of statutory compliance and tax laws Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail Ability to work independently and manage deadlines effectively Preferred Experience in handling both individual and corporate accounts If you have the relevant experience and skills we encourage you to apply We look forward to having a highly motivated professional join our team
