This role is for one of Weekday’s clients Salary range: Rs 500000 - Rs 2000000 (ie INR 5-20 LPA) Min Experience: 6 years Location: Pune JobType: full-time Requirements We are seeking a highly skilled SAP MM Consultant with strong expertise in E-Invoicing and S/4HANA to join our technology and ERP transformation team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in implementing and supporting SAP Materials Management (MM) processes along with E-Invoicing integrations across various geographies. This position requires both technical proficiency and a strong understanding of procurement and finance operations. You will collaborate with cross-functional business and IT teams to deliver compliant, efficient, and scalable solutions that streamline the procure-to-pay (P2P) cycle and ensure regulatory adherence. Key Responsibilities - Lead and manage E-Invoicing integrations with SAP, ensuring real-time document generation, validation, and submission to government or tax authority portals. - Design, configure, and implement SAP MM modules, covering Purchasing, Inventory Management, Vendor Master, Material Valuation, Invoice Verification, and Logistics Invoice Processing. - Collaborate closely with Finance (FI), Sales (SD), and Tax teams to ensure accurate tax determination and alignment with local and international compliance mandates. - Support the implementation of E-Invoicing compliance frameworks, including country-specific systems (e.g., PEPPOL, GSTN, CFDI, etc.). - Partner with procurement and finance teams to ensure smooth Procure-to-Pay (P2P) operations and process optimization. - Conduct business requirement workshops and design sessions to capture functional needs and translate them into technical specifications. - Lead or participate in System Integration Testing (SIT), User Acceptance Testing (UAT), and cutover planning for E-Invoicing and MM processes. - Provide troubleshooting and post-go-live support, addressing issues related to SAP MM, E-Invoicing, tax codes, and integration failures. - Develop and maintain functional design documents, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and configuration manuals. - Act as a bridge between business stakeholders and technical developers, ensuring timely delivery of enhancements and fixes. - Support continuous improvement initiatives by identifying opportunities to automate, simplify, or enhance MM and E-Invoicing processes. - Stay up to date with S/4HANA innovations, SAP OSS notes, and regulatory changes impacting E-Invoicing. - Ensure compliance with corporate governance, audit, and data security policies while handling sensitive financial data. Required Skills and Qualifications - Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Information Technology, or related field. - 6+ years of hands-on experience as an SAP MM Consultant in implementation or support roles. - Strong working knowledge of E-Invoicing processes and integration tools within the SAP ecosystem. - Expertise in SAP S/4HANA MM, including configuration, data migration, and process optimization. - Solid understanding of P2P, tax compliance, and financial integration workflows. - Experience working with IDocs, BAPIs, and API-based integrations for third-party or government systems. - Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and documentation skills. - Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders at all levels. - Good communication and presentation skills, with the ability to simplify complex concepts for non-technical users. Preferred Qualifications - Experience with global E-Invoicing frameworks (PEPPOL, GST, SAF-T, etc.). - Exposure to SAP FI, SD, and Tax modules integration. - SAP MM / S4HANA / E-Invoicing certification preferred.
