A resort storekeeper is responsible for managing inventory receiving and storing supplies issuing goods to departments and maintaining accurate records for all resort-related items from food and beverages to cleaning supplies and guest amenities Key duties include conducting regular stock checks ensuring storage areas are clean and organized verifying deliveries and coordinating with departments to fulfill their inventory needs while adhering to safety and hygiene standards Core responsibilities Inventory management Maintain accurate inventory records monitor stock levels and ensure items are stored properly to prevent damage or spoilage Receiving and storage Inspect incoming deliveries verify quantities and quality against purchase orders and organize received goods in their designated storage areas Issuing supplies Fulfill requisitions from various departments e g housekeeping food beverage by issuing the correct items and quantities Record keeping Maintain detailed records of all stock movements prepare reports on inventory and ensure all documentation is completed accurately Stock control Initiate purchase requisitions when stock levels approach the minimum limit and take action to stop purchasing when stock reaches the maximum limit Additional duties Cleanliness and safety Ensure all storage areas are kept clean tidy and organized following all hotel and hygiene standards Quality control Monitor the shelf life of perishable items and report any damaged or expired inventory Coordination Liaise with the purchasing department and other department heads to ensure their needs are met efficiently Physical inventory Conduct regular physical stock counts to reconcile with book balances Job Types Full-time Permanent Pay 15 000 00 - 20 000 00 per month Benefits Cell phone reimbursement Food provided Provident Fund Work Location In person
