Job Summary We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Accountant to join our finance team The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing financial records preparing financial statements conducting financial analysis and assisting with various accounting tasks The Accountant will play a critical role in maintaining accurate financial records and ensuring compliance with accounting principles and regulations Responsibilities Manage financial records Maintain and update accounting databases and electronic files to ensure accurate and organized financial data Prepare financial statements Compile and analyze financial information to create accurate and timely financial reports including balance sheets income statements and cash flow statements Conduct financial analysis Analyze financial data and performance metrics to identify trends variances and opportunities for improvement Assist with budgeting and forecasting Collaborate with the finance team to develop annual budgets and financial forecasts providing valuable insights and recommendations General ledger maintenance Ensure the integrity of the general ledger by recording all financial transactions accurately and reconciling accounts regularly Accounts payable and receivable Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes ensuring timely payments and collections Tax compliance Assist in preparing and filing tax returns ensuring compliance with relevant tax laws and regulations Audit support Collaborate with auditors during financial audits and provide necessary documentation and explanations as required Financial compliance Ensure adherence to accounting principles company policies and relevant financial regulations Process improvement Continuously identify opportunities to streamline accounting processes improve efficiency and enhance data accuracy Stay updated on accounting standards Keep abreast of changes in accounting regulations and standards and apply updated knowledge to accounting practices Requirements Bachelor s degree in Accounting Finance or a related field Proven work experience as an Accountant or in a similar role Strong knowledge of accounting principles practices and regulations Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office especially Excel Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and analysis Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret financial data and generate valuable insights Exceptional organizational and time management skills to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members and stakeholders Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive financial information with discretion Knowledge of tax laws and regulations is a plus Job Type Full-time Pay 15 000 00 - 20 000 00 per month
