About the Role - We are seeking an accomplished Technology Adoption Specialist with deep domain expertise in the automotive and auto-components sector. The ideal candidate has 10+ years of hands-on experience leading digital, automation, and smart manufacturing initiatives across production, quality, supply chain, and plant operations. - You will guide automotive SMEs and mid-sized manufacturers in selecting and adopting the right technologies, improving operational efficiency, increasing reliability, and accelerating their digital transformation maturity. Key Responsibilities - Diagnose current manufacturing, production, and shop-floor processes to identify digital maturity gaps. - Design and deploy Industry 4.0 solutions tailored for automotive environments. - Lead the evaluation and adoption of technologies such as: - ERP & MES (SAP, Oracle, Infor, Ramco, etc.) - Automation & Robotics (robotic welding, assembly robots, cobots) - IoT & Smart Factory systems (sensorisation, machine connectivity, OEE/MTBF/MTTR dashboards) - Predictive Maintenance & AI-driven analytics - PLM & CAD/CAM tools (Siemens, Dassault, Autodesk) - Supply Chain Digital Tools (RFID/barcoding, e-Kanban, warehouse automation) - Digital Quality Systems (vision inspection, SPC tools, digital QMS) - Build actionable digital adoption roadmaps (30-60-90 days + long-term plan). - Train teams (operators → supervisors → management) on new tools and workflows. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams: production, quality, operations, IT, and supply chain. - Achieve measurable improvements: - Higher OEE - Reduction in defects and rework - Lower downtime - Faster cycle times and throughput Must-Have Experience - 10+ years in automotive or auto-components manufacturing. - Demonstrated success in: - Implementing or scaling ERP/MES systems - Deploying Industry 4.0/automation solutions - Integrating robotics and automation cells - Driving shop-floor digitalization - Combining lean manufacturing with digital tools - Strong knowledge of: - PPAP, APQP, FMEA - Core processes: production, quality, supply chain, and plant operations Preferred Skills - Experience with automotive OEMs or Tier 1/Tier 2 suppliers. - Exposure to AI/ML-based analytics for manufacturing improvement. - Working knowledge of PLC/SCADA automation systems. - Ability to convert operational challenges into practical technical solutions. - Excellent communication, documentation, and stakeholder management skills.
