Summary Assistant Engineer Buyer for driving the 100 Material Fulfillment in coordination with Commodity Buyer Site Overview Our Multi-modal Manufacturing Facility MMF in Pune plays a crucial role in manufacturing key aerospace components supporting not only India s defense and commercial sectors but also global aviation supply chains Our relationships with Indian suppliers combined with our world-class local facilities and global reach continue to shape India s aerospace ecosystem Roles Responsibilities Responsible to work with Commodity Buyer for assigned list of Suppliers 100 responsible for Material fulfillment for assigned Commodity with overall ownership of material ordering availability and scheduling targeting 2-week inventory levels at a minimum Be responsible for raw material scheduling procurement follow up and expediting Coordinate with Buyer for plotting the Material visibility to plot the FG unit readiness Analyze and track Supplier promise date accuracy and develop reports to ensure Supplier promise date accuracy Identify and react to material plans that do not meet customer requirements Partner closely with suppliers focusing on Packaging needs min max planning PCNs as they relate to old existing parts materials replenishment planning Ideal Candidate Candidate with good exposure in Purchasing and Material Management Required Qualification Diploma Mechanical Electrical from a reputed college university Person should be pursuing the BE Degree 1-3 years of experience in Purchasing and Material Management Preferred Qualification Familiarity with Six Sigma Problem Solving tools Whether we are manufacturing components for our engines driving innovation in fuel and noise reduction or unlocking new opportunities to grow and deliver more productivity our GE Aerospace teams are dedicated and making a global impact Join us and help move the aerospace industry forward Additional Information Relocation Assistance Provided No
