INTRODUCTION and WHAT YOU WILL DO (Job Responsibilities) The ServiceNow Business Analyst will act as a liaison between business stakeholders and the Vontier IT Shared Services organization to provide insight, analysis and prioritization of backlog items to further develop the ITSM Tools platform within Vontier IT Shared Services. The ServiceNow Business Analyst will be required to act as a Scrum Master, leading daily sprint discussions, and guiding the team to success utilizing core Agile methodologies. The ServiceNow Business Analyst must be a skilled, hands-on professional that will act as the primary point of engagement for all new planned development areas, and investigation of potential new functionality within the ServiceNow and ITSM Tools landscape. The ServiceNow Business Analyst may from time to time be required to work after hours, weekends, and holidays. The ServiceNow Business Analyst must act as a investigator, and scrum master, for all Vontier IT Shared Services, and works directly with the ServiceNow Architect, to provide input and guide all regional ITSM initiatives. WHAT YOU WILL DO - Responsible for working with stakeholders to gather and document business requirements for ServiceNow projects. This includes understanding the business processes, identifying pain points, and translating them into functional requirements. - Facilitate meetings such as sprint planning, daily stand ups, sprint reviews and retrospectives. - Responsible for assisting with testing and validating the solutions that were designed and configured. - Responsible for removing impediments that prevent the team from achieving their goals. They work with the team to identify and resolve issues that are blocking progress. - Responsible for collaborating with Stakeholders across the organization including IT, business units and executive leadership. This includes communicating project status, identifying risks and issues, and ensuring that the project is aligned with the organization's goals. - Responsible for staying up to date with the latest ITIL/Agile best practices and trends. - This position plays a critical role in ensuring that ServiceNow projects are aligned with the business needs of the organization and that the platform is configured to meet those needs. WHO YOU ARE (Qualifications) - Bachelor's degree in computer related subject or equivalent work experience or appropriate professional certifications. - Typically, can demonstrate 5 years of IT work experience, with at least 2 years of experience working with Agile methodologies, and 1 year of ServiceNow Administration. - Recent experience working in an Agile development environment as a business analyst (i.e., Scrum, Kanban, etc.). - An understanding of the full software development lifecycle (SDLC) including recent successful and demonstrated experience with Agile methodologies (Scrum) is expected. - Experience with the ServiceNow Platform. - Experience facilitating requirements gathering, Joint Application Design (JAD) sessions, capturing client requirements and feedback. - A proactive thinker who is willing to take a chance. - Curious and self-motivated, willing to explore new technologies. - Experience with UAT Testing with stakeholders and Data Gathering for applications is also required.
