Job Title Electrician - Steel Plant Location Koshi Mathura Job Purpose To perform electrical installation maintenance and repair tasks on plant equipment machinery and infrastructure to ensure smooth safe and uninterrupted operations in the steel plant Key Responsibilities Carry out preventive and corrective maintenance of electrical systems machinery and equipment e g motors MCC panels transformers furnaces rolling mills Install and maintain wiring control systems lighting systems and switchgear Diagnose electrical faults troubleshoot breakdowns and perform necessary repairs or replacements Monitor and ensure safe operation of high-voltage HT and low-voltage LT electrical systems Read and interpret electrical drawings wiring diagrams and circuit layouts Operate and maintain tools and equipment such as multimeters insulation testers and power tools Ensure timely calibration and testing of protection relays and circuit breakers Maintain records of maintenance activities inspections and spare parts usage Adhere to safety protocols and electrical standards e g IS IEC Coordinate with other departments production mechanical instrumentation during shutdowns and emergency repairs Ensure compliance with energy management and electrical safety regulations Key Requirements ITI Diploma in Electrical Engineering or Electrician Trade Certification 2-8 years of experience as an industrial electrician preferably in a steel or heavy manufacturing environment Job Type Full-time Pay 30 000 00 - 45 000 00 per month Schedule Day shift Experience steel plant 4 years Required Work Location In person
