Key Responsibilities: Order Pickup and Delivery: Collect pharmaceutical products and medical equipment from the warehouse or store. Deliver items accurately and on time to hospitals, clinics, pharmacies, and other designated locations. Ensure that the delivered products match the orders in terms of quantity and specifications. Customer Interaction: Maintain a professional and courteous attitude with clients. Obtain signatures or confirmations upon delivery. Address minor client queries politely and report any issues to the supervisor. Handling and Safety: Handle medical and pharmaceutical products with care to prevent damage or contamination. Follow proper protocols for storing and transporting medicines and sensitive medical equipment. Adhere to health, safety, and hygiene regulations while handling products. Route Planning and Timely Delivery: Plan delivery routes efficiently to ensure timely deliveries. Navigate through local areas while considering traffic and other conditions to optimize delivery time. Report any delays, accidents, or issues promptly to the supervisor. Vehicle Maintenance and Documentation: Ensure the delivery vehicle (bike or van) is in good condition, fuelled, and maintained properly. Maintain records of deliveries, customer acknowledgments, and any discrepancies in orders. Assist with basic inventory management by reporting undelivered, returned, or damaged items. Skills and Competencies: Good communication and interpersonal skills. Punctual, reliable, and responsible. Knowledge of local routes and traffic patterns. Ability to handle medical and pharmaceutical products carefully. Basic record-keeping skills. Educational and Experience Requirements: Minimum high school education; additional education is a plus. Valid driver’s license suitable for the delivery vehicle. Prior experience in delivery, particularly in pharmaceutical or medical equipment distribution, is preferred but not mandatory. Work Environment: Field-based role with frequent travel to hospitals, clinics, and pharmacies. May require working on weekends or during urgent delivery situations.
