Requirements

We are seeking a PySpark Streaming Developer with expertise in real-time data processing to develop and optimize data applications designed to handle continuous streams of data. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in streaming capabilities to ingest, transform, and analyze data from various sources such as Kafka, web APIs, and sensor feeds, ensuring seamless integration with downstream systems like databases and dashboards.

Key Responsibilities:

- Develop and maintain real-time data processing applications using PySpark Streaming.
- Read and ingest data from diverse streaming sources such as Kafka, Kinesis, web sockets, and file system changes.
- Utilize Spark Structured Streaming for building efficient and scalable streaming pipelines.
- Apply data manipulation techniques such as filtering, aggregation, windowing, and joins on streaming data to extract meaningful insights.
- Implement data sinks to write processed data to various destinations, including databases, data lakes, live dashboards, and other applications.
- Optimize streaming applications for performance, scalability, and reliability.

Required Skills & Experience:

- Strong expertise in real-time data processing using PySpark Streaming.
- Hands-on experience with streaming data sources such as Kafka, Kinesis, and web sockets.
- Proficiency in Spark Structured Streaming API for building modern data pipelines.
- Experience in data manipulation techniques, including transformations, aggregations, and joins.
- Knowledge of data sinks and the ability to write processed data to various storage and visualization systems.

Preferred Skills:

- Experience working with large-scale streaming data applications.
- Strong understanding of distributed computing and data engineering best practices.
- Familiarity with real-time analytics and dashboard integration.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
