the role of lead civil engineer - government speciality project is critical in the construction industry and is responsible for leading the civil engineering team on a specific government specialty project the lead civil engineer is responsible for ensuring that the project is designed constructed and completed within the specified timeframe budget and quality key responsibilities lead and manage the civil engineering team to ensure the project is delivered to the required quality standards ensure compliance with the contract documents and specifications including design codes and standards develop and manage the project budget schedules and timelines provide technical guidance to the project team including contractors subcontractors and other stakeholders review and approve engineering designs drawings and calculations to ensure they meet the project s requirements develop and implement project management procedures and processes including quality control and assurance measures conduct regular site visits to monitor progress and ensure that construction work is carried out in compliance with approved designs and specifications participate in the preparation of progress reports change orders and other project-related documents collaborate with government officials and other stakeholders to ensure the project is progressing as planned identify and manage project risks including cost schedule and technical risks requirements bachelor s degree in civil engineering or related field minimum of 10 years of experience in civil engineering with at least 5 years of experience in managing large government specialty projects strong technical skills in civil engineering including design calculations and construction knowledge of relevant design codes and standards including building codes and safety regulations Experience 5 - 10 Years No of Openings 2 Education B E Diploma M Tech Any Bachelor Degree Role Civil Engineer Industry Type Real Estate Property Construction Gender Male Job Country India Type of Job Full Time Work Location Type Work from Office
