Job Description Job Summary The Sr. Test Analyst role is crucial in ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products specifically focusing on EDI standards and Facets Finance. With a hybrid work model and day shifts the candidate will collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and execute test plans. This position requires a minimum of 4 years and a maximum of 8 years of experience in relevant technical skills. Responsibilities - Develop comprehensive test plans and strategies to ensure software quality and compliance with EDI standards. - Execute test cases and analyze results to identify defects and areas for improvement. - Collaborate with developers and stakeholders to understand requirements and design effective test scenarios. - Utilize expertise in Facets Finance to validate financial transactions and processes within the software. - Ensure test coverage across all functional areas focusing on critical business processes. - Document and report test findings providing actionable insights for continuous improvement. - Participate in test automation initiatives to enhance efficiency and reduce manual testing efforts. - Work closely with the development team to facilitate timely resolution of defects and issues. - Monitor and track test progress ensuring alignment with project timelines and objectives. - Provide input on test environment setup and configuration to optimize testing conditions. - Engage in peer reviews of test cases and scripts to ensure accuracy and completeness. - Support user acceptance testing by coordinating with business users and validating outcomes. - Stay updated with industry trends and best practices in testing methodologies and tools. Qualifications - Possess strong knowledge of EDI standards and their application in software testing. - Demonstrate proficiency in Facets Finance with a focus on financial transaction validation. - Have experience in the healthcare payer domain understanding industry-specific requirements. - Exhibit excellent analytical and problem-solving skills to identify and resolve testing issues. - Show ability to work collaboratively in a hybrid work model maintaining productivity and communication. - Display strong written and verbal communication skills for effective reporting and documentation. - Hold a bachelors degree in computer science information technology or a related field. Certifications Required ISTQB Certified Tester EDI Professional Certification
