Job Description

Primary Responsibilities:

- Configure, manage, and troubleshoot Cisco ASA firewalls to enforce network security policies.
- Manage Palo Alto firewalls, including policy creation, rule management, and monitoring security events.
- Conduct firewall audits, rule optimizations, and compliance verification.
- Analyze firewall logs and security alerts to identify and mitigate threats.
- Collaborate with network and security teams to implement secure network designs and segmentation.

Secondary Responsibilities:

- Assist with Cisco Tetration deployment and monitoring for workload visibility and micro-segmentation.
- Support data collection and analysis within the Tetration platform to enhance security posture.
- Work alongside senior engineers to troubleshoot Tetration platform issues.

Required Skills:

- Proven experience with Cisco ASA firewall administration and troubleshooting.
- Strong knowledge of Palo Alto firewall policy management and security features.
- Understanding of network security fundamentals, VPNs, NAT, and routing protocols.
- Basic familiarity with Cisco Tetration platform (installation, monitoring, and analytics).
- Ability to analyze logs and network traffic for security events.
