Research/Teaching Assistant - Analytics

About Us:

SOIL's School of Business Design (SOBD) is a bold and radical initiative that reimagines management education in India. Representatives from over 30 companies from diverse sectors, their customers, and students have collaborated to build a one-of-a-kind experiential curriculum that blends design and management for the first time in India.

Location:

This role will be based out of SOBD, Manesar

Reporting Structure:

The Research/Teaching Assistant, Analytics would report into Associate Dean at SOBD

Key Responsibilities:

1. Teaching Support:

- Assist faculty members in preparing and delivering course materials for analytics courses (e.g., Data Science, Machine Learning, Statistics, Business Intelligence, Data Visualization)
- Grade assignments, exams and provide construction feedback to students
- Assist in developing/updating course content, including presentations, case studies

1. Research Support:

- Assist Professor, Associate Professor with research projects
- Assist with the preparation of research papers, conference presentations and grant applications

Qualification/Skills Required:

1. A Bachelor's Degree in Economics, Maths, Statistics or Computer Science
2. A strong inclination/eagerness to pursue PhD or already pursuing PhD
3. Prior industry experience in an analytics-related role is a significant advantage
4. Proficiency in any programming language preferably R, Python
5. Good Problem Solving Skills and Critical Thinking
6. Teaching experience is preferred
