Job OverviewWe are seeking a dedicated Construction Safety professional for a full-time mid-level position based in Coimbatore The candidate must have a minimum of 4 years of work experience in the construction safety domain This role involves ensuring the highest safety standards at construction sites and managing risk effectively Qualifications and Skills OSHA Compliance Mandatory skill Proven ability to understand and implement OSHA standards and guidelines in a construction environment Incident Investigation Mandatory skill Experience in conducting thorough investigations of safety incidents to determine root causes and prevent recurrences Risk Assessment Mandatory skill Skilled in evaluating potential risks at construction sites and implementing measures to mitigate them Hazard Identification Proficiency in identifying potential safety hazards on construction sites and addressing them promptly Safety Training Ability to develop and conduct safety training programs to educate workers on company policies and practices PPE Management Efficient management of personal protective equipment to ensure availability and compliance on site Monitoring Compliance Expertise in monitoring compliance with safety regulations and actions to rectify non-compliance issues Communication Skills Strong verbal and written communication skills for preparing safety reports and interaction at all levels Roles and Responsibilities Ensure company adherence to all safety laws and regulations at construction sites Conduct regular inspections and risk assessments to identify potential hazards Lead incident investigations and develop action plans to prevent future occurrences Develop and deliver safety training to promote awareness among construction teams Manage and oversee the distribution and correct use of personal protective equipment Prepare detailed reports on safety operations incidents and compliance activities Collaborate with construction managers to integrate safety into all aspects of operations Liaise with regulatory bodies to ensure conformity with safety legislation and standards
