Global Shaper

Job Description

The Global Shapers Community, an initiative of the World Economic Forum, is inviting applications for the Chandigarh Hub 2025 intake. Join a city level team of changemakers working on local impact projects in areas such as sustainability, education, health and civic engagement.

Location and commitment

Candidates should be based in Chandigarh, Mohali or Panchkula and able to commit 4 or more hours per week, plus attend monthly hub meetings. This is a volunteer role with no financial compensation.

Probation and confirmation

You will join as a Guest Shaper for a three-month probation period. Maintain consistent attendance and contribution during probation to be considered for confirmation as a full Shaper.

Selection process

1. Complete a short online form with your name, city, a brief motivation statement and your weekly availability.
2. Shortlisting by the Hub selection committee.
3. A virtual 20 to 30 minute interview to discuss your interests and commitment.
4. Onboarding as a Guest Shaper for the probation period.
5. Confirmation as a full Shaper upon successful completion of probation.
