Key Responsibilities - Off-Page SEO - Build and manage a robust backlink acquisition strategy through outreach, partnerships, and content syndication. - Monitor backlink profile and disavow toxic links to maintain domain authority. - Leverage PR, guest posts, and thought leadership content for organic visibility. - Technical SEO - Conduct regular website audits to identify and resolve crawl, indexing, and speed-related issues. - Optimize site structure, schema markup, XML sitemaps, canonical tags, robots.txt, and Core Web Vitals. - Collaborate with developers to ensure SEO best practices are implemented in new features, themes, and code releases. - On-Page SEO - Optimize meta tags, headers, internal linking, and content structure for better ranking and engagement. - Research and implement target keywords across landing pages, blogs, and product pages. - Ensure content is optimized for answer engines (AI-driven results like Google SGE, ChatGPT, Perplexity, etc.) with a focus on structured data and semantic search. Qualifications - 24 years of hands-on SEO experience (technical, on-page, off-page). - Strong understanding of WordPress and ability to troubleshoot technical issues. - Basic coding skills (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, PHP) to implement and debug SEO elements. - Experience with SEO tools such as Ahrefs, SEMrush, Screaming Frog, Google Search Console, GA4. - Familiarity with AI search engines and answer optimization (AEO) is a strong plus. - Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate data into actionable strategies. - Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
