About the Role

The IMS DB Application Database Administrator (DBA) plays a crucial role in managing and optimizing IMS databases to support enterprise applications effectively.

An IMS DB Application Database Administrator (DBA) is responsible for the design, implementation, maintenance, and performance tuning of IBM Information Management System (IMS) databases within a mainframe environment. This role ensures the availability, integrity, and security of critical data used by enterprise applications.

Responsibilities

- Design and implement IMS databases.
- Maintain and tune database performance.
- Ensure data availability and integrity.
- Manage database security protocols.

Qualifications
