Job Description About the Role We are looking for a Frontend Developer with deep expertise in modern web technologies to help us build scalable, high-performing, and user-friendly applications. You will be working closely with product managers, designers, and backend engineers to deliver seamless user experiences. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in building customer-facing products, has strong attention to detail, and is passionate about writing clean, maintainable code. Responsibilities - Develop, optimize, and maintain React + Next.js based applications. - Collaborate with designers to translate wireframes and UI/UX designs into high-quality code. - Integrate frontend applications with RESTful APIs and backend services. - Write reusable, testable, and efficient code following best practices. - Optimise applications for performance, scalability, and SEO. - Participate in code reviews, provide constructive feedback, and ensure high engineering standards. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams (product, backend, QA) to deliver features on time. - Stay up to date with the latest frontend technologies, frameworks, and trends. Requirements - 5+ years of professional frontend development experience. - Strong proficiency in JavaScript (ES6+), TypeScript, React, and Next.js. - Solid understanding of Node.js and its ecosystem (basic backend knowledge to work with APIs). - Experience working with REST APIs (knowledge of GraphQL is a plus). - Strong understanding of HTML5, CSS3, and responsive design principles. - Familiarity with state management libraries (e.g., Redux, Zustand, Recoil). - Hands-on experience with build tools and package managers (Webpack, Vite, npm, yarn). - Experience with testing frameworks (Jest, React Testing Library, Cypress). - Strong problem-solving skills and ability to debug complex issues. - Good understanding of Git, CI/CD pipelines, and modern DevOps practices. Nice to Have - Experience with SSR/SSG in Next.js and web performance tuning. - Knowledge of GraphQL and API design best practices. - Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Vercel) and deployment workflows. - Experience with design systems and component libraries (Storybook, Material UI, TailwindCSS). - Contribution to open-source projects or personal portfolio showcasing frontend work. Soft Skills - Strong communication and collaboration abilities. - Ability to work in an agile, fast-paced environment. - Ownership mindset with attention to detail. - Eagerness to mentor junior developers and share knowledge with the team.
