We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Consultant Specialist

In this role, you will:

- Develop software to integrate with numerous internal back end systems
- Develop scripts to automate infrastructure build
- Deploy updates and fixes and provide technical support
- Support and develop CI-CD pipelines
- Build tools to reduce occurrence of errors and improve customer experience
- Identifying and deploying cybersecurity measures by continuously assessing vulnerability and adhering to HSBC controls

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you should meet the following requirements:

- 5+ years of experience in a DevOps role within an agile delivery environment.
- Experience designing and building highly scalable and resilient platforms and applications.
- Experience working with third party cloud computing platforms such as AWS, Azure, Ali Cloud and GCP.
- Experience working with virtualization, automation and scheduling technologies, such as Jenkins Terraform Ansible Tower Puppet Control-M GIT.
- Experience working with Containerization technologies like Docker (to build images) along with Container Orchestration technologies like Kubernetes (to deploy images)
- Experience working with Container Security technologies like Aquasec
- Knowledge of Python, MSSQL, MongoDB, IP networking and Linux will be an advantage.
- Experience working within an enterprise scale organisation including hands-on experience of complex data centre environments, preferably in the finance or similarly regulated sector.
- Experience defining and refining operational procedures, workflows and processes to support the team in consistent and high quality execution of issue monitoring and detection.

- Automation and Orchestration driven mindset.

- Good verbal and written communication skills.

- Ability to work in a fast paced, team focused environment with a proven track record of delivering and completing assigned tasks as an individual and as team.

- Willingness to continuously learn and share learnings with others
