Organization Mohan Babu University MBU Location Tirupati Andhra Pradesh Department Career Development Placement Cell Position Title Placement Coordinator Employment Type Full-Time About Mohan Babu University Mohan Babu University MBU is a premier institution dedicated to providing high-quality education and fostering innovation and research We are committed to shaping future-ready professionals who can lead and excel in their chosen fields The Career Development Placement Cell is a cornerstone of this commitment acting as a vital bridge between our talented students and the industry Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and results-oriented Placement Coordinator with a strong technical background The ideal candidate will be responsible for cultivating corporate relationships facilitating internship and final placement opportunities for our students primarily in the Schools of Engineering and Technology The role requires a blend of technical understanding corporate networking skills and a passion for student development Key Responsibilities 1 Corporate Relationship Management Identify initiate and nurture relationships with potential recruiters from IT Core Engineering R D and other relevant sectors Convince companies of the high caliber of MBU s M Tech and B Tech students through presentations and campus outreach programs Serve as the primary point of contact for recruiting organizations ensuring a seamless and positive experience 2 Placement Drive Coordination Plan schedule and execute the entire placement process including Pre-Placement Talks PPTs written tests group discussions and interviews Coordinate logistics for on-campus and virtual placement drives including arranging facilities hospitality and necessary infrastructure Manage the placement portal software for student registration job postings and application tracking 3 Student Development Readiness Analyze industry trends and advise students on required skill sets Collaborate with the training team to identify gaps and recommend workshops on technical skills aptitude soft skills and interview techniques Guide and counsel students regarding career options company expectations and offer evaluations 4 Data Management Reporting Maintain an accurate and up-to-date database of students recruiters and placement statistics Prepare detailed reports and presentations on placement activities outcomes and trends for university leadership Track the career progression of alumni to strengthen the university s placement record 5 Strategic Initiatives Work towards diversifying the recruiter base and increasing the number of dream and super-dream offers Promote and facilitate industry-sponsored projects internships and live seminars to enhance industry-academia collaboration Mandatory Qualifications Experience Educational Qualification M E or M Tech from a recognized university Experience Freshers can Apply 2 years of relevant experience in corporate HR recruitment university placements or corporate relations Required Skills Competencies Technical Acumen Strong understanding of engineering and technology domains e g Computer Science ECE Mechanical Civil etc to effectively communicate with both students and tech companies Excellent Communication Superior verbal and written communication skills with the ability to present convincingly to senior corporate leaders Mandatory Networking Interpersonal Skills A proven ability to build and maintain strong professional relationships Organizational Managerial Skills Excellent planning coordination and multitasking abilities to handle multiple placement drives simultaneously Problem-Solving Attitude Proactive and resourceful in resolving challenges that may arise during the placement process Student-Centric Approach A genuine passion for mentoring and guiding students towards successful careers Proficiency in MS Office and familiarity with placement management software portals What We Offer A competitive salary and benefits package commensurate with experience An opportunity to play a pivotal role in shaping the careers of future engineers and technologists A dynamic and vibrant work environment within a leading educational institution Continuous learning and professional development opportunities Job Type Full-time Pay 12 000 00 - 40 000 00 per month Work Location In person
