This role is ideal for professionals who are passionate about cutting-edge scientific instrumentation, problem-solving, and working closely with researchers, scientists, and sales teams to drive innovation in research and diagnostics.

Role and Responsibilities

- Conduct on-site training and optimization for end-users and the sales team on advanced scientific instruments.
- Provide scientific and technical support to customers, sales teams, and product management.
- Develop expert-level proficiency in instrument software and stay updated on emerging assays.
- Lead customer demonstrations, optimizing experimental workflows and troubleshooting assays.
- Assist in data generation for Application Notes on new and emerging applications.
- Represent Medispec at industry conferences, vendor shows, and scientific seminars.
- Maintain detailed reports in CRM systems to track customer interactions, training sessions, and field activities.

Qualifications and Experience

Education and Experience:

- Advanced degree in Molecular Biology, Biochemistry, or a related field.
- Minimum two years of experience in an imaging core lab, flow cytometry lab, or high-content screening (HCS) environment.

Technical Skills:

- Expertise in Flow Cytometers, Microscopy, Imaging, and HCS instrumentation.
- Strong knowledge of SPR, fluorescent imaging, widefield and confocal microscopy.
- Experience with fluorescence and luminescence-based assays (TRF, FRET, AlphaScreen, FP, etc.).
- Proficiency in image analysis software (ImageJ, CellProfiler, or similar).
- Strong troubleshooting skills for instrumentation and assay optimization.
- Advanced computer and data analysis skills, with experience in LIMS preferred.

Travel Requirements:

- Willingness to travel up to 50% for customer training and support.
