Finance Analyst / Investment Support

The Finance Analyst will play a critical role in supporting corporate finance activities, financial planning, and investment evaluation. The ideal candidate will have 25 years of experience in finance, accounting, or a related field and be a Chartered Accountant or MBA graduate. The role requires strong analytical abilities, proficiency in financial modeling and valuation techniques, and familiarity with reporting requirements under the Insolvency and Bankruptcy Code (IBC). The candidate will be responsible for preparing reports, assessing working capital, conducting due diligence, and supporting acquisition strategies in alignment with organizational objectives.

Position: Finance Analyst / Investment Support

Qualification: Chartered Accountant / MBA

Key Responsibilities

- Prepare financial reports and statements as per regulatory and organizational requirements, including IBC-related documents and CIRP cost sheets.
- Conduct thorough financial and operational analysis, including cash flow forecasting and working capital assessment.
- Prepare preliminary reports, progress reports, and other key documents for internal and external stakeholders.
- Lead admission and verification of claims by analyzing financial data and identifying discrepancies.
- Perform in-depth due diligence on potential acquisition targets, including evaluating financial statements, market trends, and valuation models.
- Prepare detailed investment memos and presentations for senior leadership, highlighting findings, risks, and recommendations.
- Assist in identifying and evaluating acquisition opportunities that align with the companys growth and investment strategy.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate financial assessments and reporting.

Requirements

- Chartered Accountant (CA) or MBA with 2 to 5 years of relevant experience in finance, accounting, or investment analysis.
- Proficient in financial modeling, valuation techniques, and market research.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Experience preparing reports under IBC, cost sheets, forecasts, and working capital assessments.
- Excellent knowledge of Windows-based applications and general computer skills.
- Effective communication and presentation skills for senior management interactions.
