Job Description

We're looking for a highly motivated and enthusiastic Buyer Trainee to join our team. This is an excellent opportunity to learn the ins and outs of our buying process and grow into a key member of the team. As a Buyer Trainee, you'll provide essential support by managing order confirmations, tracking shipments, and communicating with suppliers. We need someone who is a quick learner, a great communicator, and a strong team player with an innovative mindset to help us improve our processes.

Key Responsibilities

- Procurement Support: Provide comprehensive support to the buying team in their day-to-day activities.
- Order Management: Update order confirmations in SAP as soon as they're received from suppliers.
- Supplier Coordination: Follow up with suppliers to ensure order confirmation compliance within the agreed-upon timeline.
- Shipment Tracking: Track shipments using information from logistics partners, suppliers, and internal transport systems.
- Issue Resolution: Act as a liaison with suppliers to resolve issues if deliveries are delayed or don't arrive.
- Communication: Manage the generic team mailbox and respond to internal and external queries.
- Process Improvement: Keep track of process updates and propose innovative changes to improve efficiency.
- Crisis Support: Be ready to provide support during high-volume periods or major process changes.

Qualifications

- A relevant university degree in Engineering or Business.
- High proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook) and strong computer skills.
- Any certification in Supply Chain and Logistics is a plus.
