The Microsoft 365 Copilot India team is looking for a high calibre and highly motivated Principal Software Engineering Manager to lead the planning design implementation and shipping of a few critical components for a M365 Copilot app on iOS and Android The team is building a set of next generation of AI powered experiences for Microsoft 365 Copilot app on Mobile Android and iOS The team is engaged in creating new experiences for people who use only mobile devices or do most of their work while being mobile Here your work has the potential to reach billions of users worldwide and to impact Microsoft business and its stakeholders Already our app has more than 150 Million MAU Microsoft s mission is to empower every person and every organization on the planet to achieve more As employees we come together with a growth mindset innovate to empower others and collaborate to realize our shared goals Each day we build on our values of respect integrity and accountability to create a culture of inclusion where everyone can thrive at work and beyond Responsibilities Responsibilities Lead a team of 8 engineers to design architect and drive implementation of large-scale experience spanning multiple systems and groups Provide technical guidance and design leadership to your team Work with global partner teams and disciplines to scope and deliver projects Practice customer obsession to create great customer outcomes Create a diverse and inclusive team culture Create robust career development plans to help grow team members Create clarity generate energy and deliver results through your team Qualifications Qualifications Bachelor s Degree in Computer Science or related technical discipline AND 9 years technical engineering experience with coding in languages including but not limited to C C Java Swift OR equivalent experience Proven ability to establish trusted effective relationships across diverse sets of stakeholders Track record of creating a culture of technical excellence and growing strong engineering teams Ability to quickly pick up existing concepts and employ new techniques and strong problem solving Mobile development experience in iOS and Android is desirable Track record of delivering products features and functionality on time with extremely high quality Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills Great verbal and written communication skills and ability to work cross- team in collaborative environment Preferred Qualifications Experience with C C or Objective-C Swift SwiftUI 9 years of software industry experience including 2 years of experience managing engineering teams Expertise in C C C or Swift Java is a highly desirable Microsoft is an equal opportunity employer All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to age ancestry color family or medical care leave gender identity or expression genetic information marital status medical condition national origin physical or mental disability political affiliation protected veteran status race religion sex including pregnancy sexual orientation or any other characteristic protected by applicable laws regulations and ordinances If you need assistance and or a reasonable accommodation due to a disability during the application or the recruiting process please send a request via the
