on multiple development platforms e g iOS Android web Angular services Address a variety of responses to problems questions or situations by applying established criteria to directly influence development outcomes In doing so use the right technology to solve technical challenges required to deliver small scale features and functions and or supporting aspects of a larger program efforts Responsible for applications systems analysis and programming activities that may include assisting with feasibility studies time and cost estimates and implementation of new or revised applications systems and programs Accountable for development design construction testing and implementation and write secure stable testable and maintainable code Expected to operate with autonomy while some oversight and direction may be required Engage in digital applications development risk technology Middleware Mainframe applications Non Mainframe applications Analytic Model Development and focus on API development Hands-on experience with Java and the Spring Boot framework for building microservices and RESTful APIs In-depth experience with Apigee Edge or Hybrid including API proxy development policy enforcement security configurations OAuth API Keys JWT and analytics Proven expertise in designing and implementing scalable high-performance and secure API solutions Strong understanding of REST principles OpenAPI Swagger specifications and API best practices Experience with relational databases e g Oracle PostgreSQL and NoSQL databases e g MongoDB Cassandra Proficiency with version control systems e g Git and CI CD tools e g Jenkins GitLab CI Excellent analytical problem-solving and debugging skills Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to analytical skills and the ability to drive complex projects from conception to deployment You will be responsible for both hands-on development and providing technical leadership ensuring the delivery of high-quality performant and resilient API solutions Key Responsibilities Design develop test and deploy RESTful APIs and microservices using Java and Spring Boot Lead the implementation and configuration of API proxies policies and security within the Apigee platform Collaborate with business analysts and product owners to translate business requirements into technical specifications and API designs Conduct detailed analysis of existing systems and propose innovative solutions for API integration and modernization Ensure adherence to API governance standards security best practices
