Responsibilities Roles and Responsibilities - Lead and manage the commissioning process for turbine systems within power plants - Develop commissioning plans schedules and procedures to ensure efficient and safe operations - Coordinate with cross-functional teams including engineering construction and operations to support commissioning activities - Conduct pre-commissioning checks inspections and tests to verify system integrity - Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues during the commissioning phase - Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and adherence to safety standards - Provide training and guidance to junior team members involved in the commissioning process - Collaborate with equipment vendors and contractors to facilitate commissioning activities - Prepare commissioning reports documentation and final handover of systems to operations - Drive continuous improvement initiatives to optimize commissioning processes and outcomes Behavioural Skills - Strong leadership and team management abilities - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills - Problem-solving mindset with attention to detail - Ability to work effectively in a dynamic and fast-paced environment Technical Skills - In-depth knowledge of turbine systems and commissioning processes - Proficiency in reading technical drawings and documentation - Familiarity with relevant codes standards and regulations in the power industry - Experience with commissioning tools and software applications Non-Negotiable Skills - Expertise in turbine commissioning processes - Strong project management skills - Leadership experience in a similar role Qualifications Education Qualification - Bachelor s degree in mechanical engineering or related field Experience - 10-15 years of experience in the Power Energy industry - Proven track record in commissioning activities specifically related to turbines - Experience in managing teams and overseeing commissioning projects
