Sr. Data Scientist – Network Optimization (Supply Chain) Experience: 5–8 Years Location: Remote Role Overview We are seeking a Senior Data Scientist with strong expertise in Network Optimization and Supply Chain analytics to design, build, and deploy scalable data science and optimization solutions. The role requires deep hands-on experience with graph-based modeling, PySpark, Databricks, and Azure cloud platforms, along with the ability to operate independently in a remote environment. Required Qualifications & Experience - 5+ years of professional experience as a Data Scientist or Machine Learning Engineer. - Mandatory: 3+ years of domain experience in Supply Chain analytics. - Strong hands-on experience in network design, optimization, and graph-based modeling. - Proven ability to work independently in a remote environment with required time overlap. Technical Skills Programming & Data Science - Strong proficiency in Python - pandas, NumPy, scikit-learn - Experience with TensorFlow or PyTorch Big Data & Distributed Computing - Advanced expertise in PySpark for large-scale data processing and ML development Databricks - Databricks notebooks and workflows - Delta Lake - MLflow (training, tracking, deployment) Cloud Platforms - Azure ML - Azure Data Factory - Azure Data Lake Storage - Azure Synapse Analytics Databases - Strong SQL skills for data querying and manipulation Graph & Optimization Tools - NetworkX - Graph algorithms and network flows - Combinatorial optimization - Familiarity with supply chain network design tools (Llamasoft, AnyLogistix) is a plus Education - Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in: - Data Science - Computer Science - Operations Research - Engineering - Applied Mathematics
