Job Description Primary Title: SailPoint Identity Governance Engineer About The Opportunity A leading IT services firm operating in the Cybersecurity & Identity Governance sector, delivering enterprise-grade Identity and Access Management (IAM) solutions to global customers. We implement SailPoint-based identity governance, provisioning, and access lifecycle automation for complex enterprise landscapes across cloud and on-prem systems. Location & Workplace On-site role based in India candidates must be available to work from a client location as required. Role & Responsibilities - Design, develop, test, and deploy SailPoint IdentityIQ / IdentityNow configurations and customizations to meet IAM requirements. - Implement provisioning, reconciliation, and connector integrations for systems such as Active Directory, HR systems, and cloud apps using REST/SCIM/LDAP. - Author and maintain IIQ rules, BeanShell scripts, workflows, UI customizations, and correlation logic to enforce access policies and role-based access control. - Lead access certification campaigns, entitlement modeling, role mining support, and remediation activities to ensure compliance and audit readiness. - Collaborate with architects, security teams, and application owners to translate business requirements into scalable IAM solutions and deployment plans. - Support production deployments, troubleshoot incidents, tune performance, and contribute to automation (CI/CD) and release processes. Skills & Qualifications Must-Have - Proven hands-on experience with SailPoint IdentityIQ or SailPoint IdentityNow implementations. - Strong scripting and customization skills using BeanShell and Java for IIQ customizations. - Experience integrating systems via REST APIs, SCIM, LDAP, and provisioning connectors. - Practical knowledge of identity lifecycle processes: provisioning, reconciliation, access certifications, and role management. - Experience troubleshooting production IAM issues and deploying fixes with governance/audit considerations. - Familiarity with directory services and target systems such as Active Directory and common HR/ERP systems. Preferred - Experience with SQL and relational databases to support reconciliation and reporting tasks. - Prior work on cloud-based SaaS integrations and SCIM connector implementations. - Exposure to CI/CD tooling, source control (Git), and automated deployment practices for IAM solutions.
