which is part of the Verizon Campus Program - will give you a chance to channel your drive and enthusiasm while learning from the best minds in the industry You ll be doing hands-on projects to support employee engagement and employee relations through the course of this 10-week experience You will take part in meaningful work and real-life projects within the Human Resources Organization that will help you grow both professionally and personally throughout the program and could be the pathway to future development program opportunities As a Human Resources Intern you may have the opportunity to Leverage your critical thinking presentation leadership organizational and analytical skills Focus on developing your business and technical skills with an assignment in the HR Business Partner organization where you will build connections with HR Centers of Excellence to support our employees Experience opportunities to use your skills in impactful projects Network with other interns professionals and business leaders Constantly be challenged to generate smart solutions to business problems You ll join us for the Intern Marquee event a unique experience designed exclusively for all US interns It s your chance to sharpen your professional development skills build your connections through structured networking and be inspired by our top executive speakers You must be currently enrolled in a degree program and be in good academic standing to be considered In this hybrid internship you ll have a defined work location that includes work from home and assigned office days set by your manager This hybrid internship will be based out of Basking Ridge NJ Relocation assistance is not offered for this position If you are interested in other internship roles and locations in addition to this one please submit your application to those postings as well in order to be considered What we re looking for You re a motivated self-starter Never satisfied with the status quo you re always trying to beat a personal best You thrive in a fast-paced environment where new challenges come up every day You are flexible dependable and work well in varying environments Learning quickly is personally rewarding and inspires you to take smart risks You want to make an impact in your community and your company You ll need to have Ability to participate in our hybrid 10-week internship that takes place from June 2026 to August 2026 working a full-time schedule Current enrollment in a Bachelor s or Master s degree program in Human Resources Labor Relations or a related major with an expected graduation date between December 2026 and June 2027 Authorization to work in the U S without restrictions or need for future sponsorship Willingness to work in Basking Ridge NJ Willing and able to travel Even better if you have Previous internship in human resources and or demonstrated interest in pursuing a career in human resources Coursework or previous internship experience in the following data analytics organizational design human resources management leadership and change management Demonstrated interpersonal skills with an ability to understand multiple perspectives and customer needs Demonstrated organizational analytical and critical thinking skills Demonstrated verbal written communication and presentation skills Experience working with others to resolve difficult conflicts Demonstrated ability to thrive in a dynamic environment and meet deadlines Strong analytical and leadership skills If Verizon and this role sound like a fit for you we encourage you to apply even if you don t meet every even better qualification listed above Compensation The base pay range for this position is between 25 00 hour -
